This is an DSEAR awareness level course suitable for anyone new to the subject. The course is appropriate for Managers through to Technicians & Operators, who need a broad understanding of working and managing safely in potentially explosive atmospheres.

The course syllabus includes:

» Requirements of DSEAR & ATEX 137
» Properties of Flammable Materials and Ex Terminology
» An Overview of Risk Assessment and Area Classification
» An Overview of Protection Concepts (electrical and non- electrical)
» An Introduction to Electrical Equipment Installation, Inspection and Maintenance requirements

A certificate of attendance is issued upon completion of the course.

Run in Cannock (Midlands) and at our UK headquarters in Shoreham-by-Sea near Brighton on scheduled dates throughout the year, this course or a tailored option can also be run at customer premises on request or at any suitable, convenient venue.
